Capaho Server Monitor sends an http get request to a specified domain to check its online status and meters the amount of time it takes to receive data back from the host. If the host returns a fatal error code or fails to respond within the specified timeout period, the Server Monitor main panel opens if it is hidden, genrates a system beep, and displays a red LED icon next to the name of the domain that is offline. It can also be set to send an alert email message to a specified email address. If the host responds successfully within the specified timeout period, the domain status and page load time are indicated on the front panel.
